Rapid innovation with artificial intelligence (AI) – from autonomous AI agents and generative models to brain-machine interfaces, self-driving vehicles, and a growing range of quantum technologies – requires global action to safeguard the future.
AI governance, standards, skills and capacity will be in focus at the AI for Good Global Summit 2025, organized by ITU, the UN agency for digital technologies, supported by over 50 UN partners and co-convened with the federal government of Switzerland.
The summit takes place from 8 to 11 July 2025 at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland, with 100+ demos showcasing AI innovations to deliver better healthcare and education, reduce disaster risks, ensure water and food security, and bolster economic resilience.
This year’s event emphasizes the technical resources and know-how needed among policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, professionals across the workforce, and the next generation of innovators to maximize the social and economic benefits of AI, particularly in developing countries.
